Club League race 2 - CP, Ballyboggin Circuit

Congratulations to Paddy Losty for a great win in Round 2 of the 2012 Club League!  Paddy held off the entire field to lead the race from start to finish, and closely beat Brad into second place.

Next group in the road were led home by 2011 league champion Aaron Ronan.  Aaron took 3rd place, which means he now takes over as league leader (see league table here).

The Scratch group didn't quite manage to close the gap on the other groups, despite a very fast pace, and were led in by Ger Dunne after a very hard effort to chase the other groups down.

The second round of the 2012 club league takes place on Tuesday 15th May at 7pm, and is two laps of the Ballyboggin Circuit, approx 13.7km for first lap, shorter for the second (details below)

*** Be sure to check the rota to see if you are scheduled for Marshal duties!! ***


Start point is just beside Paddy's Bar in Clonard Village, first group off at 7pm sharp.

Route goes from Clonard Village, over to Ballyboggin, turning left up the famous 'col du Ballyboggin' :) then left at the bottom, and over the Motorway Bridge and on to the old N4 at Leinster Bridge, turning left and in to Clonard village to begin the second lap.

Finish line is the Motorway bridge, second time around.
