2014 Meath County Championships
On Sunday, 7th September, we will host the Road Race
Championships for County Meath
Sign-on location is: Clonard Village Hall from 09:15am (which
is on the old N4 road, between the towns of Enfield and
Kinnegad).
Start line is in
Clonard village (just off the main road at Paddy's Bar). First
race away at 10am sharp.
For the Underage racing, we have the following programme....
u16
- two laps of the short circuit
u14
- one lap of the short circuit
u12
- finish line will be 5km from the start, on the main
circuit
Underage Prizes will be presented at 11:15, in Clonard Hall.
These are the shorter lap details, applicable only to the
underage riders:

For the senior riders:
Start time is 11am sharp. Start location/parking is in
Clonard Village.
Finish line is at the M4 motorway bridge, just before the
junction back out onto the R148.
Junior, A4, A3,
A2, A1, and women's race are all racing together, in a massed
start - subject to commissairre decision on the day.
Prizes are for the first 3 riders in each category.
Duration will be 4 laps - again subject to the commissaire
decision on the day for each particular category.
Each FULL lap is 18km. The final lap is 3km shorter due
to finish line location.

** Important Safety Notice **
EVERYONE taking part in the events must wear a helmet - no one
will be allowed to participate without one.
No Tri bars are allowed, and no Time Trial bikes either.
Please be careful on the approach to
junctions, and pay attention to the signals given by the
Marshals at the junctions
